Every project that generates data on research careers is considered a study with certain metadata. All studies (except for those which have not started yet) are linked to at least one round of data collection. A round of data collection will also be linked to one or more data sets. However, this link is not available for all rounds of data collection.

In this version of the wiki we focus on studies that

  • involve qualitative or quantitative surveys of doctoral candidates or doctorate holders on career related topics and
  • are either longitudinal or repeated cross-section within one country or
  • cross-sectional covering more than one country
  • provide documentation in English
